Position Summary
- Purify polyclonal/monoclonal antibodies in a GMP Lab following GMP guidelines (including GMP, natural, and other products for pharma/IVD customers).
- Purify antibodies via column chromatography using varied techniques/equipment.
- Filter, aliquot, and bottle product using aseptic techniques; submit to bulk inventory.
- Document batch records per GMP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Purification of antibodies.
- Clean/validate equipment and procedures; ensure lab readiness for internal/external audits.
- Revise specifications, SOPs, and documents as needed; submit updates for manager review.
- Keep chemicals/stock buffers and equipment calibration current; order/restock chemicals, raw materials, and consumables.
- Use computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships; plan, organize, manage time, and multitask.
- Provide excellent verbal/written communication and technical writing.
- Follow safety rules/policies; handle sensitive/proprietary information confidentially.
- Follow handbook/AWAIR/Chemical Hygiene/Exposure Control guidelines; requires continuous supervision and monitoring.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or equivalent; 0β2 years experience. Chromatography experience beneficial.
