Operations
Summary
- Own Critical Reagent Inventory Management (CRIM) activities for Analytical Sciences (AS) Systems & Operations.
- Ensure critical reagents and reference standards are available for analytical testing across the product lifecycle; manage inventory, logistics, storage, contract/admin support, documentation compliance, and operational planning.

Responsibilities
- Inventory & planning: replenishment forecasting, risk assessments, urgent need monitoring, freezer mapping/cataloging/storage organization.
- Logistics & execution: on-site receipt/handling/movement of CR/RS and samples; register items in Benchling; coordinate shipments for CR/RS and lab materials; coordinate with labs, Supply Chain, and Procurement; support CR/RS transfer to Quality.
- Contracts & vendors: manage AS service contracts (discussions, initiation, SOW drafting, vendor administration); track contract status with PM&Op; maintain vendor documentation.
- Reporting & QMS: draft CR/RS reports/change records; own Veeva and QMS documentation processes for CRIM; ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and company procedures.
- Individual contributor; coordinate and may guide/train on CRIM processes.

Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years industry experience (biotech/pharma/lab), including lab operations/inventory/CRIM.
- Experience in lab operations, inventory/quality systems, or analytical sciences.
- Strong CR/RS knowledge; SPOC for CRIM.
- Strong organization/documentation; manage multiple priorities.
- On-site 5 days/week for hands-on storage/handling.
- Independent, proactive, flexible, strong written/verbal communication.

Preferred
- 5+ years industry experience; 2–3 years similar CRIM/lab/inventory role.
- GMP/GLP; Veeva/QMS/change control; contract administration/vendor management; inventory systems and lifecycle management; pharma/biotech development.

Education
- Bachelor’s in biology/chemistry/biochemistry/biotech (or related) or equivalent experience.
