Repair Technician 1

Role: Repair Technician 1 responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining GE Healthcare medical equipment to ensure optimal functioning and patient safety. Responsibilities include system disassembly, cleaning, component repair/replacement, reassembly, installation of options, calibration, quality compliance, documentation, inventory management, and collaboration with engineering to improve process quality. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 years in equipment repair, preferably in healthcare or technical environments; basic electrical/mechanical knowledge; ability to read technical manuals and use test tools; strong problem-solving skills; effective communication; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred qualifications include an associate's degree in electronics, biomedical tech, or related field. High-value specifics: healthcare/medical device repair, experience with GE medical systems, emphasis on quality systems (GxP), documentation, and safety standards.
