Regional Sales Director (RSD)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning/execution to ensure market entry and sustained uptake
- Translate national brand strategy into regional plans and field priorities
- Achieve/exceed sales goals, market share targets, and key launch metrics
- Monitor market/customer/competitive insights and adjust strategy
- Build and lead a team of ~8–12 territory managers (recruit, onboard, develop, retain)
- Establish disease state/clinical/product knowledge; coach via regular field contact
- Maintain relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; support access/account strategies
- Partner cross-functionally (Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, HR) to support launch readiness
- Provide field input to messaging/brand/tactical adjustments; support launch meetings/communications
- Ensure regional activities are conducted in compliance with company policies/industry regulations (operational excellence)

Qualifications / Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales
- 3+ years people leadership in district/regional manager role
- Prior launch experience required

Qualifications / Preferred
- Advanced degree
- First-launch/startup biotech experience
- Cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related specialty experience

Skills / Profile
- Proven specialty sales leadership; talent recruiting/development
- Strong business planning, analytics, and coaching
- Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments; urgency/bias for action; travel up to 60%

- Eligible for medical, dental, vision, time off, and 401K; participation in incentive plans contingent on performance
- US Salary Range: $180,000–$215,000
