Regional Sales Director (RSD) β€” Missouri/Arkansas/Effingham, IL

Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure successful market entry and sustained product uptake
- Translate national brand strategy into actionable regional business plans and field priorities
- Achieve or exceed sales goals, market share targets, and launch KPIs; drive data-driven accountability
- Monitor market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to adjust strategy
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain ~8–12 territory managers; provide regular field coaching and performance evaluation
- Establish and maintain strong disease state/clinical/product knowledge
- Develop relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; partner on access challenges and account strategies
- Support pull-through with IDNs/priority accounts
- Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR for launch readiness; provide field input into messaging and tactics
- Ensure all regional activities comply with company policies/industry regulations; manage budgets/resources; maintain forecasting, CRM, and reporting discipline

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
- 3+ years people leadership in district/regional manager role
- Prior launch experience required; first-launch/startup biotech strongly preferred
- Proven specialty sales leadership with results
- Strong business planning, analytical, and coaching skills
- Experience in cardiovascular/nephrology/hypertension-related markets strongly preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environment; travel up to 60% (often overnight)

Benefits/Compensation
- Eligible for medical, dental, vision, time off, and 401K; participate in incentive plans contingent on performance; US salary range: $180,000–$215,000.
