Regional Sales Director (RSD) β€” Fully Remote

Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning/execution to ensure successful market entry and sustained product uptake.
- Translate national brand strategy into regional business plans and field execution priorities.
- Drive team to achieve/exceed sales goals, market share targets, and launch KPIs; monitor market/customer/competitive intelligence and adjust strategy.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain 8–12 territory managers; coach regularly and evaluate performance.
- Maintain strong disease-state, clinical, and product knowledge.
- Develop relationships with key providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; partner on access challenges and account strategies; support pull-through.
- Collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR for launch readiness; provide field input into messaging/tactical adjustments.
- Ensure regional activities comply with policies/regulations; manage budgets/resources; maintain forecasting, CRM use, and reporting discipline.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 3+ years people leadership in district/regional manager role.
- Proven specialty sales success; prior launch experience required (first-launch/startup biotech strongly preferred).
- Strong business planning/analytical/coaching skills; ability to work in fast-paced collaborative environments.
- Prefer experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension/related markets.
- Willingness to travel extensively within region (up to 60%).

- Standard benefits: medical, dental, vision, time off, 401K; incentive plans based on personal/company performance.
- US salary range: $180,000–$215,000.
