Position Summary:
As a Regional Sales Director, manage and motivate a high-performing team of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and Virology Care Specialists (VCSs), develop and execute regional business plans, and create a culture of excellence and accountability while partnering with healthcare providers and institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team of SAMs and VCSs; equip them with skills and mindset
- Promote Invivyd products responsibly to targeted healthcare providers and academic centers in alignment with policies/SOPs and applicable laws
- Create a high-performance, coaching culture; set regional tone and vision
- Drive execution of sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives while staying compliant
- Engage key accounts; build relationships and partner to expand and retain business
- Coach in the field alongside SAMs and VCSs; provide real-time feedback for responsible selling
- Support growth and career development; foster readiness, professionalism, compliance, and continuous learning
- Act as liaison between Sales and other corporate functions for regional strategies/tactics
- Manage and deploy resources (financial/field staff); establish and manage area expense budgets and ROI
- Provide training, coaching, follow-up, and development for SAMs
- Drive demand aligned with long-term sales and profit objectives; improve team performance via planning, training, motivation, and management
Required:
- Bachelorโs degree (BS/BA); Masterโs preferred
- 10+ years in biopharma/med device/healthcare industry
- 5+ years managing high-performing teams in life sciences
- Experience with reimbursement, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacies, IDNs, and federal channels
- Ability to be in the field 4 full days/week; travel by car and airplane
- Knowledge of laws/regulations and industry codes (e.g., PhRMA Code)
- Strong healthcare landscape and payer dynamics understanding
- Leadership, coaching, recruiting, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to market changes and drive continuous improvement; ethical, engaged mindset
Pay Range: $184,000 - $245,000; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive.
