Responsibilities:
- Direct sales strategy and planning for the field-based team by driving short-term sales targets and long-term goals.
- Position AbbVie as a market leader and solution-provider across the stakeholder base.
- Exhibit deep market knowledge across sector, geography, franchise(s), including Key Managed Care and Payer dynamics; provide quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Drive high growth; determine franchise strategic next steps; deliver financial results (top- and relevant bottom-line).
- Ensure external market, segment, and internal enterprise considerations are reflected in strategy and planning.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance across direct franchise, cross-functional partners, other field teams, and multiple franchises.
- Develop top talent through development and exposure opportunities.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of people leadership (preferably sales leadership).
- Commercial pharmaceutical experience (physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, and marketing).
- Ability to set vision and strategy.
- Ability to build and inspire individuals and teams.
- Project management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to network and partner across functional areas.

- Up to 75% travel.
- Drive personal auto or company vehicle/equipment.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and remain in good standing/eligible.
