Regional Sales Director (RSD)
The RSD will play a critical role in the successful launch and growth of Mineralys’ first commercial product within an assigned region—translating national strategy into regional execution and driving business performance through field leadership and disciplined execution.
Territory: Houston, TX; Shreveport, LA; Jackson, MS
Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning and execution for successful market entry and sustained product uptake
- Translate national brand strategy into regional business plans and field execution priorities
- Achieve/exceed sales goals, market share targets, and key launch KPIs; use data-driven decisions to adjust in real time
- Recruit, onboard, develop, retain, and lead a team of ~8–12 territory managers (coach, evaluate performance via regular field contact)
- Maintain strong disease state/clinical/product knowledge; build succession plans and talent pipelines
- Develop relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; support account strategies and access challenges
- Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR; provide field input into messaging and tactical adjustments
- Ensure activities are compliant with company policies/industry regulations; manage budgets/resources; maintain forecasting, CRM utilization, and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years pharma/biotech sales experience
- 3+ years people leadership in district/regional manager role
- Prior launch experience required; first-launch/startup biotech strongly preferred
- Specialty experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related markets strongly preferred
- Demonstrated recruiting/development success; strong business planning/analytical/coaching skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; travel extensively within region

Travel: Up to 60% (often overnight)

US Salary Range: $180,000–$215,000
