Regional Sales Director (RSD) will drive the successful launch and growth of Mineralysโ first commercial product in an assigned region by translating national strategy into regional execution, leading field teams, partnering cross-functionally, and meeting launch objectives.
Territory: Denver, CO; Wichita, KS; Amarillo, TX; Lubbock, TX; Oklahoma City, OK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure market entry and sustained product uptake.
- Translate national brand strategy into regional business plans and field priorities.
- Achieve/exceed sales goals, market share targets, and key performance metrics at launch and beyond.
- Monitor market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence; adjust strategy in real time.
- Drive performance via data-driven decision-making and disciplined execution.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain territory managers; lead and coach a team of ~8โ12.
- Maintain disease state, clinical, and product knowledge; evaluate performance and coach for growth.
- Develop account relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; support pull-through.
- Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR for launch readiness; provide field input on messaging and tactics.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 3+ years people leadership in a district/regional manager role.
- Proven success leading specialty sales teams and exceeding goals; prior launch experience required (first-launch/startup strongly preferred).
- Strong preference: cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related specialty markets.
- Demonstrated talent recruiting/development; strong business planning/analytical/coaching skills.
- Extensive regional travel required (up to 60%).
