Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure successful market entry and sustained product uptake.
- Translate national brand strategy into regional business plans and field execution priorities.
- Achieve/exceed sales goals, market share targets, and key performance metrics at launch and beyond.
- Monitor market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence; adjust strategy in real time.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain a team of ~8β12 territory managers; coach through regular field contact.
- Maintain deep disease state, clinical, and product knowledge.
- Foster a high-performance, accountability-focused culture; build succession plans and talent pipelines.
- Develop relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; partner on access challenges and account strategies.
- Support pull-through with IDNs, organized customers, and priority accounts; share customer insights internally.
- Collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR for launch readiness.
- Ensure regional activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards; manage budgets and forecasting/CRM/reporting.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Bachelorβs degree (advanced degree preferred).
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 3+ years people leadership in district/regional manager role.
- Proven specialty sales leadership and goal attainment; prior launch experience required (startup biotech strongly preferred).
- Specialty experience preferred: cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension.
- Demonstrated talent recruiting/development; strong business planning/analytical/coaching skills.
- Travel up to 60% within region.
