Role Summary
The Regional Sales Director for Neuroscience leads the sales performance and professional development of a team covering the Southeast region, focusing on Chronic Migraine, Focal Spasticity, and Cervical Dystonia indications. Responsibilities include strategic sales leadership, budget management, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliant execution of all promotional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving/exceeding neuroscience sales targets and other organization goals within expense, compliance, and legal guidelines.
- Analyze sales and business execution to identify needs, develop and execute plans, evaluate progress, and monitor results to improve district, regional, and national performance.
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture; inspire, manage, and retain team members while mentoring others.
- Build professional relationships with external customers and internal partners to optimize resource usage and sales performance.
- Meet productivity and administrative requirements to support sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide direct feedback and communicate with brand partners and departments regarding marketing and IBT initiatives.
- Assess and coach indication-specific anatomy, procedures, and injection trainings with strong technical knowledge.
- Drive personal auto or company vehicle use as required.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or equivalent industry experience; successful sales management experience in pharmaceutical industry; experience with physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care and marketing; ability to set vision and strategy; strong leadership and coaching capability; project management experience; ability to network across functions; adherence to AbbVie Ways of Working; HCIR credentialing requirements and eligibility; compliance with credentialing processes including background checks, drug screens, immunizations, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses as required.
- Preferred: 10+ years total healthcare/biotech experience with 5+ years in management handling high reimbursement components; history of strong team performance and coaching; experience selling/manage Buy & Bill, Specialty Pharmacy, Medicare Part B/D; experience in headache or movement disorders; proven market/business planning ability; quick learn of anatomical and clinical content and ability to coach diverse audiences; willingness to travel 50βΓΓ¬75% overnight; valid driverβΓΓ΄s license; ability to meet hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements.
