Regional Sales Director (RSD) β Territory: Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Wilmington, NC; Fayetteville, NC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning/execution to ensure market entry and sustained product uptake.
- Translate national brand strategy into regional business plans and field priorities.
- Drive team to achieve/exceed sales goals, market share targets, and launch KPIs; use data-driven decisions.
- Monitor market/customer/competitive intelligence and adjust strategy in real time.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain ~8β12 territory managers; coach and evaluate via regular field contact.
- Build and maintain disease state, clinical, and product knowledge.
- Develop/maintain relationships with healthcare providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; support access and pull-through.
- Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR to support launch readiness.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards; manage budgets/resources; maintain forecasting/CRM/reporting discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- 3+ years people leadership in district/regional manager role.
- Prior launch experience required (first-launch/startup biotech strongly preferred).
- Proven specialty sales success; recruiting/developing talent.
- Strong business planning, analytical, and coaching skills.
- Cardiovascular/nephrology/hypertension specialty experience strongly preferred.

- US salary range: $180,000β$215,000.
Travel
- Up to 60% travel (often overnight/out of local area).
