Regional Reimbursement Director, Oncology, Northeast & Mid Atlantic

Role: The Regional Reimbursement Director (RRD) is field-based, responsible for managing reimbursement environments across the Northeast & Mid Atlantic regions for Ipsen's oncology portfolio. Objectives include enhancing patient access by navigating payer policies, developing strategies, and fostering provider relationships. Responsibilities encompass supporting access strategies, engaging with Medicare contractors, providing reimbursement support at conferences, and collaborating with internal teams to address barriers, especially during product launches. The role involves monitoring payer policies, analyzing market access trends, and maintaining stakeholder relationships with providers, advocacy groups, and payers. The RRD also supplies market insights to inform strategic planning and supports education efforts for healthcare providers. Qualifications: Minimum 10+ years in pharma/biotech or consulting, with over 5 years in reimbursement of injectable/infused products, expert knowledge of coverage, coding, and payment policies, and strong communication skills. Preferred: experience with physician-administered oncology drugs, Medicare Part D, and certification in medical coding. Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; advanced degrees and certifications are advantages. The role requires up to 60% travel, working from home or on-site, with a focus on building relationships and providing strategic market access support tailored to oncology therapies.
