Regional Reimbursement Director, Neuroscience, North Central

Role: Field-based Regional Reimbursement Director responsible for managing payer access and reimbursement strategies for Ipsen’s neurology portfolio within the North Central region. Objectives: optimize patient access by understanding and translating payer policies, fostering stakeholder relationships, and supporting market expansion. Responsibilities: develop reimbursement strategies, build relationships with MACs, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups; provide reimbursement support at professional events; monitor market access trends, and advise internal teams on access barriers and opportunities. Lead regional launch preparedness for new neurology therapies, ensuring payer coverage and coding considerations are addressed. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and mitigate access challenges, inform sales and brand strategies, and support strategic initiatives to grow product utilization. Qualifications: 10+ years in pharma/biotech or consulting, with 5+ years in reimbursement of injectable/infused drugs or medical devices; expert knowledge of coverage, coding, and payment policies; bachelor’s degree required, advanced degrees (MBA, MPH, MS) or coding certification preferred. Experience with Medicare Part D, physician-administered drugs, and working across payer/provider landscapes highly advantageous. Skills: excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities; ability to work independently, manage a large geographic territory, and travel up to 60%. High-value biopharma specifics include focus on neurology/neuroscience, payer landscape, reimbursement for infused therapies, and market access strategy. Work setup: primarily field-based with travel; residing near a major airport within the region required.
