Role Summary

A Regional Operations Manager is responsible for all commercial activities and execution of strategies within their defined region, focusing on key urology accounts and relevant institutions including hospitals, ASCs, and clinics. They plan region-specific strategies, assess market opportunities, reimbursement, and patient pathways, and develop detailed business plans to execute the business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Territory Business Managers, market access managers, and certified nurse educators.
  • Develop and leverage relationships with key customers throughout the region.
  • Manage both large and small Urology, hospital, and pharmacy accounts.
  • Ensure product delivery needs of each customer are met.
  • Translate strategies into actionable regional plans.
  • Demonstrate expertise in disease state, product, surgical process, and reimbursement.
  • Use analytics, market knowledge, and clinical understanding to develop and implement an effective regional business plan.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities efficiently (call reporting, expense reporting, communications, account documentation).
  • Understand opportunities unique to the geography.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Required: Minimum of 6 years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device experience.
  • Preferred: 2 years hospital or large account experience.
  • Preferred: 2 years Urology experience.
  • Operational experience with EMR systems/onboarding accounts to new products and building electronic pathways is highly preferred.
  • Consistent track record of performance.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally within the region to share results, assist in training, and develop best practices.
  • Resourceful, creative, enthusiastic, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of the time with overnight stays required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
