Role Summary
Regional Nurse Specialist responsible for educating and supporting prescribers, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals on UT products, including indications, dosing, adverse effects, and administration techniques. Will facilitate new patient therapeutic initiation and the referral process, ensuring clinicians have tools and education to start patients safely. Territory includes ME, VT, CT, MA, RI, NH and Upstate NY; travel at least 80% with overnight stays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide resources and education to prescribers, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals new to UT products across indications, dosing, adverse effects, and administration techniques.
- Offer practical guidance on patient follow-up based on good clinical practice.
- Support HCPs in initiating new patient therapy and navigating the referral process to ensure safe and effective starts.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs Degree in Nursing
- Required: 5+ years of experience in cardiology or pulmonology and/or relevant nurse educator experience
- Required: Strong teaching and presentation skills
- Required: Ability to work as part of a larger team
- Required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Required: Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Required: Driver License in good standing (state)**
- Required: Ability to travel a minimum of 80%, including overnight travel
- Preferred: PAH Coordinator or PAH Clinical Practice experience
- Preferred: RN license active in at least one state (multi-state preferred)
- Preferred: Project management skills
- Preferred: Multilingual abilities
