Role Summary

Regional Marketing Manager, Psychiatry (Neuroscience) - East Central. This role supports multiple states within the region and focuses on engaging key experts in the Psychiatry space, translating regional needs into local strategies, and driving alignment with the national marketing plan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain accountability for interactions and feedback with key EEs; represent AbbVieโ€šร„รดs interests while seeking solutions to improve patient care; identify emerging EEs to expand AbbVie footprint in Psychiatry.
  • Engage with EEs and attend key medical congresses; coordinate Commercial leadership engagements at conferences.
  • Provide in-depth insights from stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage geographically defined areas, understand market drivers and provider dynamics; translate local needs into local strategies aligned with the national plan; support field resource maximization, local congresses, and regional speaker programs; collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities and present plans to sales leadership twice yearly.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of tactics; manage projects to deliver high-quality work on time; ensure regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed.
  • Lead or contribute to key team workstreams as needed (e.g., compliance, ad board support, insight dissemination, national congress support, speaker budget).
  • Maintain understanding of disease and competitive marketplace.
  • Operate in compliance with AbbVie policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Drive a personal or company vehicle as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical experience (sales and/or marketing) required.
  • Strong business acumen with strategic and critical thinking; proficient with business tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present to internal/external stakeholders, sales teams, and senior leadership.
  • Proven project management and prioritization skills.
  • Self-starter, intellectually curious, adaptable to change; proactive problem identification and solution conceptualization.
  • Collaborative, open to feedback and innovation, grounded in practicality; effective in a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (national/regional conferences, meetings, field visits).
  • Leadership potential with a focus on excellence, optimism, openness, and authenticity.
