Job Description
- Lead and direct business and sales execution for the region as Regional General Manager; report to Head of Sales.
- Lead teams of Area Business Managers (ABM) and Division Business Associate Directors (DBAD).
- Implement vaccine portfolio commercial strategy to achieve/exceed regional sales objectives.
- Plan, track, reinforce, and document sales force effectiveness to meet national objectives.
- Build regional business plans by product, segment (e.g., Independents/LOCs), and contracting modalities (e.g., PBGs).
- Oversee financial accountability: revenue maximization and budget management.
- Deliver and adapt business plans; lead formal regional business reviews with NA Senior Leadership.
- Communicate regional market trends, competitor activity, barriers/drivers, challenges, and opportunities across Commercial Operations.
- Provide cross-functional leadership (Marketing, Market Access, Sales Training & Development, Sales Operations & Analytics).
- Support navigation/communication of complex contracting and pricing.
- Coach/train team members to identify opportunities and key contacts; collaborate on account needs.
- Refine sales processes with Commercial Excellence; foster continuous improvement.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing, diverse/inclusive team.
- Build morale and motivate; support career development for sales managers.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 15+ years Biotech/Pharma experience.
- 5+ years regional/area sales management (people management).
- Home Office/Headquarters or significant commercial leadership (e.g., Market Access).
- Track record meeting/exceeding business targets; enterprise mindset.
- Leadership/coachability; ability to influence senior leaders.
- Negotiation skills.
- Compliance with applicable regulatory/legal/operational rules.
- Inclusive mindset; role-model/values alignment.
- Regular regional travel (frequent overnight/weekend) and valid driverโ€™s license.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
- Vaccine sales or buy-and-bill/distribution/administration/reimbursement knowledge.
- Launch experience (last 4 years), preferably in leadership.
- Experience launching new sales teams.
- Executive-level customer experience and executive value proposition for acute care/vaccines.
