Responsibilities:
- Serve as field-based leader for regional DPEGs and IDNs; build trusting relationships with clinical leaders, educational leaders, and C-suite executives of Dermatology Private Equity-backed Groups (DPEGs).
- Develop deep understanding of DPEG structures, performance metrics, and educational needs.
- Develop cross-functional engagement strategy to build groundwork for launch.
- Co-create data-driven value proposition to improve patient outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of MSLs; foster a collaborative, high-performing, scientifically rigorous culture.
- Guide development and execution of territory plans, objectives, and KPIs for each MSL; conduct performance evaluations and coaching/training for skill gaps and career growth.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs leadership to align MSL activities to organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to development of MSL tactics aligned to corporate and therapeutic area goals; drive execution within assigned region.
- Ensure MSLs are equipped with latest scientific/clinical data and support integration into regional and national initiatives.
- Cultivate long-lasting KOL/HCP/academic researcher relationships through active field engagement.
- Act as scientific resource/point of contact for inquiries regarding pipeline, products, and scientific advancements.
- Represent the company at scientific congresses, advisory boards, and relevant forums.
- Provide strategic input to clinical trials, publication plans, and other medical activities using field insights/customer feedback.
- Ensure appropriate deployment of MSL resources to support clinical, regulatory, and commercial objectives.
- Ensure MSL activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory/ethical/company standards including GxP and HIPAA.
- Provide regular updates to MA management on team progress, KOL engagement, and metrics on impact/outcomes.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging trends in dermatology, rheumatology, and neurology.

Qualifications:
- Education: PhD, PharmD, MD, or other advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Pharmacology, Medicine).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Medical Affairs or related scientific roles, including leadership experience managing MSLs or scientific professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of medical dermatology (clinical practice, research, evolving treatment paradigms).
- Proven track record of relationship-building with KOLs, HCPs, and key stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with demonstrated collaboration across commercial, clinical, regulatory, and other business functions.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry (regulatory/compliance, scientific data dissemination, product lifecycle management).
- Ability to translate complex scientific information into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in therapeutic areas of medical dermatology.
- Prior leadership experience in a biopharmaceutical company or global pharmaceutical organization.
- Familiarity with clinical trial processes, publication planning, and scientific communication in a corporate environment.

Travel:
- Willingness to travel extensively (50–75%).
