Regional Director, Neuromuscular β West

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Regional Account Associate Directors (RAADs); foster team culture; drive account-based engagement across neuromuscular treatment centers; develop plans aligned to field strategy.
- Lead case execution for a gene therapy model and complex buy-and-bill neuromuscular assets; coordinate patient identification, treatment readiness, and case success.
- Partner with neuromuscular centers and cross-functional teams to improve patient identification, referral pathways, and treatment timelines.
- Ensure site onboarding/readiness by aligning operational processes, reimbursement workflows, and treatment logistics.
- Collaborate with Access, Patient Services, Trade & Distribution, and Medical to remove access barriers and support timely patient access.
- Build relationships with centers of excellence, thought leaders, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Execute tailored account-level pre-launch/launch strategies; champion cross-functional, patient-centered experience from diagnosis through reimbursement.
- Partner with manufacturing/supply chain to align availability with patient/site readiness.
- Translate complex clinical/operational/access dynamics into priorities and action plans.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar) with large, geographically dispersed teams; 2+ cross-functional experience types.
- 5+ years field commercial leadership with strategic, enterprise mindset.
- 2+ years supporting buy-and-bill therapies (distribution, site-of-care revenue cycle, billing/coding).
- 2+ years leading cross-functional national alignment projects.
- US experience within last 5 years; deep US healthcare ecosystem knowledge.
- Proven frontline sales/product launch success; business acumen; digital engagement; thrives in complex matrixed environments.
- Reside in region or reasonable commute to a metro airport; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable:
- Second-line leadership experience (Medical and/or Access).
- Rare disease experience, including reimbursement support, high-cost buy-and-bill, site onboarding, and senior leader engagement.
