Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Regional Account Associate Directors (RAADs); foster team culture; drive account-based engagement across designated neuromuscular treatment centers; develop plans aligned to field strategy.
- Lead execution of a case-based gene therapy model and complex buy-and-bill neuromuscular assets; coordinate patient identification, treatment readiness, and case success.
- Partner with neuromuscular centers and cross-functional teams to improve patient identification, referral pathways, and treatment timelines.
- Ensure site onboarding and readiness by aligning operational processes, reimbursement workflows, and treatment logistics.
- Collaborate with Access, Novartis Patient Services, Trade & Distribution, and Medical to remove barriers and support timely patient access.
- Build relationships with neuromuscular centers of excellence, key thought leaders, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Execute tailored, account-level strategies aligned to pre-launch and launch priorities using local ecosystem insights.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration for a seamless patient-centered experience from diagnosis through reimbursement.
- Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to align product availability with site readiness.
- Translate clinical/operational/access dynamics into clear priorities and actionable plans.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar) with large dispersed teams and 2+ cross-functional role types.
- 5+ years in field commercial leadership with strategic enterprise mindset.
- 2+ years supporting buy-and-bill therapies (distribution pathways, site-of-care revenue cycle, billing/coding).
- 2+ years leading sophisticated cross-functional projects with national alignment.
- Recent US experience (last 5 years) and deep knowledge of US healthcare ecosystem.
- Proven frontline sales/product launch success; business acumen; digital engagement; ability in complex matrix environments.
- Reside within region or reasonable commuting distance to a metropolitan airport; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Second-line leadership experience (Medical and/or Access); people-centered leadership at scale.
- Rare disease experience (reimbursement, high-cost buy-and-bill, site onboarding, senior leader engagement).

Driving Essential Function:
- Fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

For Field Roles with a Dedicated Training Period:
- Complete initial training (home study; ≤8 hours/day and ≤40 hours/week).
