Discover Your Role
- Recruit, lead, develop, and retain the Rare Neurology Medical Specialist team in the assigned Region.
- Meet/exceed assigned sales objectives; ensure action plans align to brand strategic initiatives.
- Lead regional sales force activities (hiring, training, performance evaluation, development) in compliance with corporate policies.
- Ensure customer education training and effective implementation.
- Share industry and competitor knowledge with regional teams.
- Participate in industry trade shows, meetings, and conferences.
- Analyze sales and customer data to deploy appropriate resources.
- Allocate and manage regional budget and promotional resources.
- Build credibility and relationships with key customers (clinical experts, advocacy groups, etc.) and ensure Medical Specialists are viewed as clinical experts.
- Develop and execute a compliant incentive compensation plan for the field team.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze market dynamics/trends.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of payer environment, reimbursement, government programs, managed healthcare, and evolving systems.

This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certification a plus; science/clinical focus preferred).
- 10+ years pharma/biopharma experience; 5+ years sales leadership/management, including 3 years as Regional Director/District Manager in Rare Neurology.
- Preferred: experience with complex therapies (REMS, biologics, specialty pharmacy) in Rare Disease/Neurology (e.g., Myasthenia Gravis, MS, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy).
- Proven success leading sales in complex markets with integrity.
- Record of hiring/coaching/developing/promoting/retaining top talent.
- Ability to develop physician/customer clinical experts; strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Travel extensively; ability to manage region objectives and goals.
- Preferred: product launch experience; selling to diverse customer segments.
- Required/considered: understanding reimbursement challenges/opportunities (including buy-and-bill product) and ability to analyze market data.
- Strategic thinker who challenges status quo; leadership for mentoring and professional development.
- Reside within the assigned territory.
