Location: South Central (Texas and Louisiana) — Remote role

Responsibilities / Discover Your Role:
- Recruit, lead, develop, and retain the Rare Neurology Medical Specialist team.
- Build and develop a high-performing, high-integrity sales team.
- Meet and/or exceed assigned sales objectives; align action plans to brand strategic initiatives.
- Lead regional sales activities: hiring, training, performance evaluation, and development (in compliance with corporate policies).
- Ensure effective customer education implementation.
- Communicate industry and competitor knowledge to regional teams.
- Ensure participation in industry trade shows/meetings/conferences.
- Analyze sales and customer data to deploy appropriate resources.
- Allocate and manage regional budget and promotional resources.
- Ensure consistent achievement of brand objectives and product sales goals with accountability.
- Build credibility and relationships with key customers and clinical experts.
- Ensure Medical Specialists are viewed as clinical experts.
- Develop and execute incentive compensation plans for the field team (compliant with corporate objectives/guidelines).
- Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze market dynamics and trends.
- Demonstrate understanding of payer environment, reimbursement, government programs, managed care, and evolving healthcare systems.

Qualifications / This Role Requires:
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s or advanced education/certification a plus (science/clinical focus preferred).
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience; 5 years sales leadership/management; 3 years as Regional Director/District Manager in Rare Neurology.
- Highly preferred: complex therapies experience (REMS, biologics, specialty pharmacy) in Rare Disease/Neurology (e.g., myasthenia gravis, MS, Parkinson’s, epilepsy).
- Proven integrity and success leading sales in complex markets.
- Record of hiring/coaching/developing/promoting/retaining talent.
- Ability to develop physician/customer clinical experts.
- Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills; strong collaboration with internal field teams/alliance partners.
- Extensive travel.
- Ability to analyze sales and market data; strategic thinker.
- Leadership skills for motivating/mentoring/professional development.
- Candidates must reside within the assigned territory.

Preferred:
- Product launch experience.
- Experience selling to diverse customer segments.
- Understanding reimbursement challenges/opportunities (buy-and-bill) or relevant Rare Neurology experience.
