Discover Your Role
- Build and develop a high performing, high integrity, high quality sales team; provide overall leadership.
- Meet and/or exceed assigned sales objectives; ensure action plans align to brand strategic initiatives.
- Lead regional sales force activities (hiring, training, performance evaluation, development) while ensuring compliance to corporate policies.
- Ensure employees are trained on and effectively implement customer education.
- Communicate current industry and competitor product knowledge to regional teams.
- Ensure participation in industry trade shows, meetings, and conferences.
- Analyze sales and customer data to deploy appropriate regional resources.
- Allocate and manage the region’s budget and promotional resources.
- Ensure consistent performance meeting/exceeding brand objectives and product sales goals with accountability for results.
- Build credibility and relationships with key customers (regional/local clinical experts, advocacy groups) and their staffs.
- Ensure Medical Specialists are viewed as clinical experts.
- Develop and execute an Incentive Compensation plan in a compliant manner.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze market dynamics and trends.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of payer environment and reimbursement (government programs, managed health care, evolving systems).

This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certification a plus; science focus/clinical experience a plus).
- 10+ years pharma/biopharma experience; 5 years sales leadership/management, including 3 years as Regional Director/District Manager in Rare Neurology.
- Experience with complex therapies (REMS, biologics, specialty pharmacy) in rare disease/neurology (highly preferred: Myasthenia Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy).
- Proven success as Regional Director/District Manager in complex markets with integrity.
- Track record of hiring, coaching, developing, promoting, and retaining talent.
- Proven ability to develop physician/customer clinical experts at regional scope.
- Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills; effective team player.
- Ability to collaborate with internal field teams and alliance partners.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Ability to manage and drive regional objectives.
- Strong analytical skills for sales/market data.
- Strategic thinker; leadership skills (motivate, mentor, professional development).
- Product launch experience and selling to diverse customer segments (plus).
- Reimbursement/buy-and-bill understanding (required) or relevant Rare Neurology experience.
- Candidates must reside within the assigned territory.

Compensation
- Salary Range (annually): $210,800.00 - $266,200.00
