Role: Regional Director - HIV Prevention, Field Activation Specialist, leading market expansion efforts in the Southeast US (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana). Responsibilities include leading by example as a player-coach to activate key accounts, recruiting and developing a high-performing team of Market Expansion Specialists, and executing strategic regional plans aligned with national goals. The role involves analyzing market data, integrating scientific and operational insights into healthcare ecosystems, and fostering cross-functional collaborations with teams such as Medical, Market Access, and Community Liaisons. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in strategic sales, team leadership, healthcare ecosystem navigation, and complex selling environments, including institutional and buy-and-bill settings. Qualifications include a high school diploma with 16 years of experience, or higher education with proportional experience, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include 12+ years of commercial experience with 5+ years leading hospital or specialty pharma sales teams, especially in HIV or infectious diseases. High-value biopharma specifics involve HIV prevention, PrEP therapies, and a focus on healthcare provider engagement and market access within a scientific and regulatory landscape. The role reports to senior management and emphasizes a leadership style rooted in inclusion, talent development, and empowerment, with travel requirements within the region.
