Regional Director, Access & Reimbursement - Mountain Central

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Regional Access & Reimbursement field teams; provide leadership, management, coaching, operations, compliance, and budget oversight.
- Attract, recruit, interview, hire, train, staff, coach, and retain high-performing Access & Reimbursement professionals.
- Drive national strategy execution at the regional level; may lead specific national strategies/tactic development.
- Anticipate and coach teams to address access hurdles impacting key customers and patients; identify/escalate delays in treatment initiation/continuation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., NPS, Customer Engagement, Marketing, Market Access, Operations, Training, Legal, ERC) with a compliant, customer-focused approach.
- Maintain national perspective; link business strategy to compliant execution aligned to product strategy and business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum; advanced degree preferred (Sciences, Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare).
- 8+ years in reimbursement/contract strategy/managed care/sales-marketing or related; 2+ years leading a regional/local team and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Experience establishing access/acquisition pathways with complex practices/health systems.
- Strategic account management; proactive access hurdle anticipation.
- Expertise integrating manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.
- Specialty product reimbursement experience (specialty pharmacy networks and buy-and-bill): acquisition, billing/coding, claims processing, reimbursement.
- Proven record building/motivating teams; successful launch execution.
- Must reside within territory or within 60 miles of territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license; ability to drive/fly in territory.
Preferred:
- Therapeutic space and reimbursement knowledge (oncology/diagnostic preferred).
- Patient support services, market access, customer focus, cross-functional work, launch execution, strong communication/presentation.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Expected salary: $194,600–$361,400/year; performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity.

Additional role requirements:
- Driving is essential; must have a fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Complete initial training (home study; ≤8 hours/day, ≤40 hours/week).
