Responsibilities
- Territory planning and execution targeting immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine physicians, and specialized HAE treatment centers in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
- Prioritize high-value accounts (HAE patient volume, prescriber influence, institutional capabilities) and build trusted advisor relationships with KOLs, clinical champions, and administrative decision-makers.
- Manage the sales pipeline from initial awareness through patient treatment completion.
- Educate providers on in vivo CRISPR gene editing mechanisms; differentiate MOA vs prophylaxis, complement inhibitors, and plasma-derived therapies.
- Present Phase III efficacy and safety data; address misconceptions about CRISPR safety and differentiate from previous gene therapy launches.
- Educate on unmet needs and the patient journey (diagnosis confirmation through treatment administration) and coordinate with patient support hubs.
- Support competitive differentiation via competitive intelligence and value proposition development; proactively handle objections.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs (MSLs), Field Reimbursement Managers (payer strategy/coverage), and Strategic Accounts (referral patterns, site selection/activation).

Qualifications / Skills (About You)
- Comprehensive HAE knowledge; understanding of gene editing technologies, genetic medicines, and regulatory requirements; ability to analyze/present complex clinical trial data and real-world evidence.
- Exceptional scientific communication; proven stakeholder relationship management; creative problem solving for access/treatment implementation barriers; collaboration, growth mindset, and competitive/objection-handling mindset.
- Business owner mindset to develop/execute a business plan.
- BS/BA in life sciences or business-related field.
- Preferred: rare disease, gene therapy, and HAE market knowledge.
- Required: 5+ years specialty pharmaceutical sales (prefer rare disease/immunology/genetic medicines); proven rare disease commercialization; launch experience (first-in-class/novel mechanism preferred); success in 12–18 month complex multi-stakeholder sales.

Benefits / Compensation
- Base salary expected: $166,500–$203,500/year; performance-based bonus; new hire equity grant; annual equity award eligibility.
