Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plans targeting immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine physicians, and specialized HAE treatment centers.
- Identify and prioritize high-value accounts based on HAE patient volume, prescriber influence, and institutional capabilities.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with KOLs, clinical champions, and administrative decision-makers.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline from initial awareness through patient treatment completion.
- Educate providers on in vivo CRISPR gene editing mechanisms and differentiate from ex vivo therapies and traditional treatments.
- Articulate MOA differentiation vs prophylactic treatments, complement inhibitors, and plasma-derived therapies; present Phase III efficacy/safety data.
- Address misconceptions about CRISPR safety and differentiate from prior gene therapy launches.
- Educate on unmet needs and patient journey (diagnosis confirmation through treatment administration).
- Coordinate with patient support hubs to ensure seamless patient experience and access.
- Partner with Medical Affairs/Medical Science Liaisons; align with Field Reimbursement Managers on payer strategy/coverage.
- Work with strategic accounts on referral patterns, site selection, and site activation for procurement/administration.

Qualifications/Skills
- Knowledge of HAE pathophysiology, treatment landscape, and unmet medical needs.
- Understanding of gene editing technologies, genetic medicines, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze and present complex clinical trial data and real-world evidence.
- Exceptional scientific communication; strong relationship management.
- Creative problem-solving for access barriers and treatment implementation.
- Growth mindset, competitive mindset, and execution/results mindset.
- BS/BA in life sciences or business-related field.
- Preferred: rare disease/gene therapy/HAE market knowledge.
- 5+ years specialty pharmaceutical sales experience (rare diseases, immunology, or genetic medicines).
- Proven rare disease commercialization and launch experience (preferably first-in-class).
- Success in long sales cycles (12–18 months) with multiple stakeholders.
