Sales Representative to lead the commercial launch of an in vivo CRISPR therapy for hereditary angioedema (HAE). Territory covers Denver, CO.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plans targeting immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine physicians, and specialized HAE treatment centers.
- Identify and prioritize high-value accounts (HAE patient volume, prescriber influence, institutional capabilities).
- Build trusted advisor relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical champions, and administrative decision-makers.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline from initial awareness through patient treatment completion.
- Educate providers on in vivo CRISPR gene editing mechanisms and differentiate from ex vivo cell therapies and traditional treatments.
- Present Phase III efficacy and safety data; address misconceptions about CRISPR safety and differentiate from previous gene therapy launches.
- Maintain competitive intelligence; develop differentiated value propositions; proactively handle objections (CRISPR permanence and single-treatment cost).
- Educate on patient journey (from diagnosis confirmation through administration) and coordinate with patient support hubs.
- Partner with Medical Affairs/Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement Managers (payer strategy/coverage), and strategic accounts (referrals, site selection/activation).
Qualifications
- BS/BA in life sciences or business-related field.
- Understanding of gene editing technologies, genetic medicines, and regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HAE pathophysiology, treatment landscape, and unmet needs.
- Ability to analyze and present complex clinical trial data and real-world evidence.
- 5+ years specialty pharmaceutical sales experience (preferred: rare diseases, immunology, or genetic medicines).
- Proven rare disease commercialization experience; preferred: launch experience (first-in-class/novel mechanism).
- Demonstrated success in long sales cycles (12β18 months) with multiple stakeholders.
