Responsibilities
- Territory Planning & Account Development: Develop/execute territory plans (immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine, specialized HAE centers); prioritize accounts by HAE patient volume, prescriber influence, and institutional capabilities; build trusted advisor relationships with key opinion leaders/clinical champions/administrative decision-makers; maintain end-to-end pipeline from awareness through treatment completion.
- Scientific Education & Communication: Educate providers on in vivo CRISPR mechanisms and differentiate vs ex vivo therapies/traditional treatments; clearly articulate MOA vs prophylactic/complement inhibitors/plasma-derived therapies; present Phase III efficacy/safety data; address CRISPR safety misconceptions; educate on unmet needs and treatment burden.
- Competitive Differentiation: Track competitive landscape/emerging therapies; develop differentiated value propositions; handle objections (CRISPR, permanent genetic modification, single-treatment cost).
- Treatment Pathway & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Educate patient journey; coordinate patient support hubs; partner with Medical Science Liaisons; align with Field Reimbursement Managers; coordinate strategic accounts on referrals, site selection, and site activation.

Qualifications
- BS/BA in life sciences or business-related field.
- Comprehensive HAE knowledge; understanding of gene editing technologies/genetic medicines and regulatory requirements; ability to analyze/present complex clinical trial data and real-world evidence.
- 5+ years specialty pharmaceutical sales experience (rare disease, immunology, or genetic medicines preferred); track record in rare disease commercialization; launch experience; success in long 12–18 month complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional scientific communication; relationship management; problem-solving; collaboration; growth/competitive mindset; integrity; patient focus.

Compensation/Benefits
- Base salary expected: $166,500–$203,500; performance-based annual cash bonus; new hire equity grant; potential annual equity awards.
