Territory Sales Representative (North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plans targeting immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine physicians, and specialized HAE treatment centers.
- Identify and prioritize high-value accounts based on HAE patient volume, prescriber influence, and institutional capabilities.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical champions, and administrative decision-makers.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline from initial awareness through patient treatment completion.
- Educate providers on in vivo CRISPR gene editing mechanisms and differentiate from ex vivo therapies/traditional treatments.
- Present Phase III efficacy and safety data; address CRISPR safety misconceptions and differentiate from prior gene therapy launches.
- Articulate unique mechanism of action vs prophylactic treatments, complement inhibitors, and plasma-derived therapies.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and develop differentiated value propositions.
- Proactively handle objections (CRISPR permanence, technology concerns, single-treatment cost).
- Educate on the patient pathway and coordinate with patient support hubs.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Field Reimbursement Managers, and strategic accounts teams.
Qualifications / Skills
- Knowledge of HAE pathophysiology, treatment landscape, and unmet needs.
- Understanding of gene editing technologies, genetic medicines, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze and present complex clinical trial data and real-world evidence.
- Exceptional scientific communication; strong stakeholder relationship management.
- Problem-solving mindset to overcome access barriers; collaboration and learning; growth/competitive mindset.
- Integrity and ethical/regulatory compliance; patient-first approach.
- BS/BA in life sciences or business-related field.
- Preferred: Rare disease/gene therapy/HAE market knowledge.
- 5+ years specialty pharmaceutical sales (rare diseases/immunology/genetic medicines preferred).
- Proven rare disease commercialization experience; launch experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in long sales cycles (12β18 months).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary expected: $166,500β$203,500 USD/year.
- Performance-based annual cash bonus; new hire equity grant; eligibility for annual equity awards.
