Sales Representative (Territory: Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute territory plans targeting immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine physicians, and specialized HAE treatment centers.
- Prioritize high-value accounts based on HAE patient volume, prescriber influence, and institutional capabilities.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with KOLs, clinical champions, and administrative decision-makers.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline from initial awareness through patient treatment completion.
- Educate providers on in vivo CRISPR gene editing (mechanism, differentiating from other therapies).
- Present Phase III efficacy and safety data; address CRISPR safety misconceptions and differentiate from prior gene therapy launches.
- Provide disease education on unmet needs and treatment burden.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and articulate value propositions vs. existing HAE treatments and other gene therapies.
- Handle objections (CRISPR/permanent modification/single-treatment cost).
- Educate on patient pathway and integrate patient support hub services for treatment access.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Field Reimbursement, and Strategic Accounts for medical needs, payer strategy/coverage, and site/referral activation.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA in life sciences or business-related field.
- 5+ years specialty pharmaceutical sales experience (rare diseases/immunology/genetic medicines preferred).
- Rare disease commercialization experience with complex treatment paradigms and small patient populations.
- Launch experience (first-in-class/novel mechanism preferred).
- Success in long sales cycles (12–18 months) with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong HAE knowledge; CRISPR/gene therapy and regulatory understanding preferred.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Base salary: $166,500–$203,500 (plus performance bonus, new-hire equity grant, and potential annual equity awards).
