Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement regional sales plans; coach and lead the regional specialty sales team (Specialty Sales Representatives and Specialty Account Managers).
- Support and develop team members; align performance and create a learning environment.
- Develop and execute market-based business strategies and regional business plans using data/account analysis.
- Proactively evaluate opportunities and recommend solutions to business challenges.
- Build and manage relationships with key customers/professionals and internal stakeholders; engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Implement sales and marketing programs to support U.S. growth in assigned district.
- Ensure compliance of selling activities with applicable State and Federal regulations.
- Provide strategic input to Marketing to evolve the marketing plan.
- Work with Regional/National Account Managers on managed market issues and initiatives.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- BS/BA.
- 5+ years management experience in pharma/immunology/biologic-biotech/medical devices (district/specialty account/marketing/product management or equivalent).
- 3+ years people leadership or account/brand management.
- Strategic planning; coaching/delegation/motivation; analyze complex data.
- Strong verbal/written/presentation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
