The Regional Business Lead, IBD is responsible for planning and implementing district sales plans and coaching for success, including building and leading the district sales team; supporting and coaching sales team members; managing relationships with key customers/professionals and internal stakeholders; and managing district sales operations (policies/procedures, budgets, sales and account data, etc.). Leads and manages Specialty Sales Representatives and Specialty Account Managers promoting Takedaโ€™s biotech product to medical professionals.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement market-based business strategies and business plans to achieve sales objectives.
- Evaluate business opportunities; provide recommendations to address business challenges.
- Recruit, train, and develop specialty sales/account teams; coach, delegate, and create a learning environment.
- Create integrated account/sales teams and implement sales and marketing programs for U.S. growth.
- Drive accountability for sales and Takeda objectives; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide strategic marketing input; build relationships with local/regional/national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Serve as liaison with internal partners; coordinate with Regional/National Account Managers on managed market initiatives.

Required:
- BS/BA.
- 5+ years management experience in pharma/immunology/biologic-biotech/medical devices (district/specialty account, marketing, and/or product management).
- Strategic planning, coaching/motivating, complex data analysis, strong communication.
- MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- MBA/Masterโ€™s; infusible/injectable experience; account-based sales (hospitals/infusion centers/large group practice).
- Experience in Immunology and Gastroenterology; biological product launch.

Travel: 50โ€“75%.
