Regional Business Director (RBD) β AMVUTTRA (vutrisiran)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of Business Account Executives to drive disease awareness and product education for healthcare professionals treating hATTR amyloidosis patients.
- Coach and develop BAEs to meet/exceed targets; assess and improve field/selling processes.
- Align sales execution with product strategy and market needs using strong sales management, planning, financial acumen, and analytics.
- Develop forward-looking action plans and communicate market status/next steps to leadership; provide market insights to inform commercial strategy.
- Build a customer-oriented culture focused on patient needs, seamless execution, and value-added services.
- Attract, manage, and retain top sales talent; allocate/manage regional resources; align people/processes/structure/info across functions.
- Inspire the team through clear communication of strategy and vision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required (science preferred); MBA/PhD plus.
- 7+ years in sales/marketing/commercial ops/account management in commercial healthcare (biotech, med device, specialty pharma).
- 3+ years leading teams (field sales team build-out preferred).
- Rare/orphan disease and BAE training/management preferred.
- US product launch helpful.
- Required: reimbursement knowledge (Buy/Bill), Part B & D expertise, and work with in-house patient support.
- Hospital/institution and P&T process knowledge; P&T process.
- Preferred: neurology/cardiology experience; site-of-care development.
- Experience managing multiple functions/teams; matrix leadership; planning/prioritization.
- Familiar with biotech/pharma legal/regulatory environments.
- 60β70% travel; valid driverβs license.
- Commitment to ethics and integrity.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Pay range: $204,000.00β$276,000.00; eligible for annual short-term incentive and long-term incentive (equity).
