Position Summary
The Regional Business Director is a sales leadership role responsible for executing the overall growth strategy for the Region, including leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing 6–9 account managers and molecular oncology specialists. Hands-on focus on leading and developing the sales team; identifying and communicating customer needs to maintain market leadership.

Job Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed direct sales revenue targets.
- Develop regional sales strategy to achieve revenue objectives.
- Build and manage the sales team to meet volume and revenue objectives.
- Establish senior-level relationships within key accounts.
- Provide marketplace feedback; share industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights.
- Build cross-functional relationships for product development, pipeline management, compensation plans, sales reporting, and revenue forecasting.
- Maintain communication with Area Vice President of Oncology Sales on regional revenue and client/advertiser relationships.
- Analyze opportunities and develop strategic sales plans for assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain client relationships; advise senior management on client/market concerns.
- Maintain core knowledge of competitive products/services/technology and reimbursement/billing issues.
- Maintain assigned company assets; submit required reports and paperwork.
- Support physicians with ordering/interpreting the CMI platform and QC report quality/accuracy (may require PHI).
- Provide meeting and trade show support; perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (accredited university).
- 5+ years people leadership; understanding of oncology/pathology/diagnostic market.
- Strong physician/client relationship understanding; healthcare business policies.
- Proven success with large global brand marketers/agencies.
- Strong decision-making, communication (written/verbal), multitasking, and ability to work in matrix environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
- Problem management/process analysis/root cause analysis skills.
- Strong relationship-building; ability to manage up/down/across.
- Valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle/insurance.
- Travel regularly; 50% time in field with clients/prospects.
- Pre-employment: criminal background check, drug screening, reference verification.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
