Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the region’s business strategy to promote approved and potential future sleep medications.
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse, high-performing sales team to exceed sales goals.
- Identify, recruit, coach, and retain top sales talent.
- Own development and execution of the region’s business plan to deliver compliant sales growth, objectives, and KPIs.
- Collaborate across the organization and with external stakeholders (e.g., Medical Affairs, Patient Services, Field Reimbursement, Market Access, Marketing, Commercial Operations/ Learning, Compliance) to improve access and outcomes.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and manage strategic business planning and brand plan implementation.
- Build long-term relationships with influential customers and increase customer engagement.
- Use promotional resources and budget effectively.
- Monitor field activities; visit and work with team members to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
- Deploy training, tools, data, and resources to support performance.
- Ensure the sales team operates in compliance with company policies/processes and reinforce Sales Force Guiding Principles.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS required.
- 7+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- Must live within the geography of responsibility.
- Driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to demonstrate/secure required healthcare provider credentialing.

Preferred:
- 10+ years related experience with 3+ years management (Regional Manager/Product Management).
- Proven track record building/coaching sales teams.
- Account-based experience (orphan/rare disease, specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill) and Neurology experience preferred.
- Specialty pharma sales performance vs. quota; reimbursement knowledge for physician-administered treatments.
- Strong healthcare regulatory understanding; cross-functional experience.
- Strong verbal/written communication; high ethics.
- Ability to travel 30–50%.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary: $182k–$217k; performance-based sales incentive targeted at $60k annually; eligibility for long-term incentive program; competitive benefits package.
