Position Summary
The MCED Sales – Regional Business Director (RBD) leads regional MCED growth for Caris Detect and owns strategic, executive-level customer relationships. Leads, coaches, and develops a team of 6–9 Account Managers and Early Detection Specialists, and manages a portfolio of strategic/complex accounts (e.g., academic medical centers, IDNs, executive health programs, large group practices).

Job Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed regional sales revenue, adoption, and growth targets.
- Align enterprise priorities with regional execution; surface market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Analyze regional performance, pipeline, and utilization trends to identify opportunities/risks.
- Develop and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Build, train, and lead a high-performing sales team; drive accountability to volume and revenue through clinical selling and executive engagement.
- Lead DTP/DTC engagement to influence clinical decision-making and drive appropriate test utilization.
- Maintain knowledge of internal/external products, technology solutions, and reimbursement/billing.
- Establish/maintain senior relationships with strategic accounts (CEO/CMO/COO/CFO/Directors/Lab Leadership).
- Partner cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Operations, Laboratory, IT, and Payer teams.
- Submit required administrative documentation; maintain company assets; support meetings/trade shows; perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (life sciences/business/related).
- 5+ years in early detection, oncology diagnostics, precision medicine, or complex healthcare sales.
- 5+ years proven people leadership with team performance accountability.
- Strong physician/clinical needs knowledge and enterprise healthcare account success.
- Ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment; strong communication and analytical/organizational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM/reporting tools and Microsoft Office.
- Problem/process analysis and root cause skills.
- Understanding of healthcare business policies/practices.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle/insurance.
- Ability to spend ~50% of time in the field.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience with early detection or diagnostic technologies.
- Strategic account and/or project management experience.
- Experience with academic medical centers, large IDNs, or longevity concierge networks.

Required Training
- Complete all job-specific, safety, and compliance training as assigned.

Other
- Periodic travel; may include evenings/weekends/holidays.

Annual Hiring Range
- $200,000–$230,000.
