Regional Business Director, Long Term Care (Midwest Region)

Role: Regional Business Director (RBD), Long Term Care (LTC) at Axsome Therapeutics, leading LTC commercial activities within an assigned geography. Objectives: drive regional sales performance, develop and lead a team of LTC Account Managers, and execute strategic marketing initiatives for successful product launch and growth. Responsibilities: supervise LTC operations including hiring, coaching, and performance management; develop and implement regional business plans; collaborate with Market Access teams to optimize market dynamics; maintain technical expertise on products and policies; and manage regional P&L. Qualifications: BA required, advanced degree preferred; 5+ years in field leadership, payer account management, or pharmaceutical sales, with LTC/hospital/health system experience; proven success in leading teams, launching products, and developing talent; previous Psychiatry experience and digital marketing skills advantageous. High-Value: LTC focus, hospital and health system sales, proven launch experience, digital marketing aptitude, and market access knowledge. Work setup: field-based; travel as needed; live/virtual mix for stakeholder engagement.
