Role Summary
Regional Business Director, Immunology Dermatology (WEST) leading a team of District Managers and Dermatology Sales Specialists across the West region, accountable for developing and executing a regional business plan, maximizing sales opportunities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive compliant growth and market access.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for leading their team to maximize sales opportunities, prioritizing resources and efforts to maximize results.
- Develop and execute an aligned business plan to deliver compliant product sales growth and volume objectives, addressing customer and marketplace needs.
- Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access and build effective operating networks for positive business interactions.
- Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team skilled in Janssen business, healthcare marketplace, and account management; coach District Managers and Sales Specialists on critical competencies.
- Coach others to secure mutual alignment with stakeholders and achieve customer-centric and company-responsible outcomes, adhering to J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
- Set overall account goals and oversee account metrics and business performance.
Qualifications
- Required: Seven (7) years of related experience with at least five (5) years in cross-functional commercial roles (Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics, or Business Development).
- Required: Prior direct people management / leadership experience.
- Required: Ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high-performing, diverse teams.
- Required: Demonstrated commercial capabilities and success in prior roles.
- Required: Valid US Driverβs License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Live within the regional geography.
- Cross-functional experience beyond Sales and Sales Learning & Development.
- Healthcare or related experience, including pharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience in sales as a professional sales representative and/or District Manager.
- Direct experience in in-line Marketing and/or Strategic Marketing/Marketing Access.
- Sales and/or Marketing experience in Dermatology.
