Role Summary
Regional leadership role responsible for directing and developing a team of District Managers and Dermatology Sales Specialists with sales responsibilities across Janssen Biotechโรรดs Dermatology accounts in the West region. Oversees cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive compliant sales growth and account performance. Location preference is proximity to major West region cities.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for leading the team to maximize sales opportunities, prioritizing resources and efforts to maximize results.
- Develop and execute an aligned business plan aligned with Janssen business and brand strategies to deliver compliant product sales growth and volume objectives.
- Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access and build effective operating networks for positive business interactions.
- Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team skilled in the Janssen business, healthcare marketplace, and account management; coach District Managers and Sales Specialists on critical business competencies and leadership imperatives.
- Coach others to achieve customer-centric outcomes while adhering to J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
- Set overall account goals and oversee account metrics and business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of related experience with a minimum of five (5) years in cross-functional commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics or Business Development).
- Prior direct people management / leadership experience.
- Ability to lead, develop, coach and engage high performing, diverse teams.
- Demonstrated commercial capabilities and success in prior commercial roles.
- Valid US Driverโรรดs License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Live within the regional geography.
- Cross-functional experience beyond solely Sales and Sales Learning & Development.
- Healthcare or related experience, including pharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience in sales as a professional sales representative and/or District Manager.
- Direct experience in in-line Marketing and/or Strategic Marketing/Marketing Access.
- Sales and/or Marketing experience in Dermatology.
