Role Summary
Regional Business Director, Immunology Dermatology (West) leads and develops a team of District Managers and Dermatology Sales Specialists responsible for Janssen Biotechโรรดs Dermatology accounts across the West region (including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle and Portland). This field-based leadership role drives aligned business planning, cross-functional collaboration, and achievement of sales and brand objectives within a patient-centric framework.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a diverse team to maximize sales opportunities, prioritizing resources and actions to maximize results.
- Develop and execute an aligned business plan to deliver compliant product sales growth and volume objectives while addressing customer and market needs.
- Collaborate with internal partners (Sales Leadership, Brand, Strategic Customer Group, Field Sales Partners, Commercial Excellence, Analytics & Insights) and external stakeholders to optimize access and build effective operating networks.
- Coach and retain District Managers and Sales Specialists, building critical business competencies and leadership imperatives.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually aligned, customer-centric outcomes while adhering to J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
- Set overall account goals, develop and oversee account metrics and business performance.
Qualifications
- Required: Seven (7) years of related experience with at least five (5) years in cross-functional commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics or Business Development); prior direct people management/leadership experience; ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high-performing, diverse teams; demonstrated commercial capabilities; valid US Driverโรรดs License.
- Preferred: Live within the regional geography; cross-functional experience beyond Sales and Sales Learning & Development; healthcare or pharmaceutical experience; prior sales or DM experience; experience in inline Marketing and/or Marketing Access; dermatology sales/marketing experience.
