Role Summary
Regional Business Director, Immunology Dermatology (OHIO VALLEY) leads, develops, and directly manages a team of District Managers and Dermatology Sales Specialists responsible for Janssen Biotech’s Dermatology accounts within the Ohio Valley region. The role involves collaboration with cross-disciplinary stakeholders and regional leadership to drive compliant sales growth and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for leading their team to maximize sales opportunities, prioritizing opportunities and coordinating resources to maximize results.
- Develop and execute an aligned business plan tailored to Janssen’s brand strategies to deliver compliant product sales growth and volume objectives while addressing customer and marketplace needs.
- Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access, build relationships, and establish effective operating networks.
- Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team skilled in the Janssen business and account management; coach District Managers and Sales Specialists on essential business competencies and leadership imperatives.
- Coach others to secure mutual alignment with internal and external stakeholders, adopting positions that are customer-centric and company responsible, in line with J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
- Set overall account goals and oversee account metrics and business performance.
Qualifications
- Required: Seven (7) years of related experience, including at least five (5) years in cross-functional commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics, or Business Development).
- Required: Prior direct people management / leadership experience.
- Required: Ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high-performing, diverse teams.
- Required: Demonstrated commercial capabilities and success in prior commercial roles.
- Required: Valid US Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Live within the regional geography.
- Cross-functional experience beyond solely Sales and Sales Learning & Development.
- Healthcare or related experience, including pharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience in sales as a professional sales representative and/or District Manager.
- Direct experience in in-line Marketing and/or Strategic Marketing/Marketing Access.
- Sales and/or Marketing experience in Dermatology.
