Regional Business Director (Great Lakes: WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY, TN) — Gastroenterology Rare Disease Sales Team

Objectives
- Achieve Business Unit sales objectives via Quarterly Business Reviews and coaching.
- Build/lead regional sales team; support and coach Regional Business Managers; manage relationships with key customers/professionals/stakeholders; manage regional sales operations (policies/procedures, budgets, sales/account data).

Accountabilities
- Plan/direct/oversee sales rep activities for a geographic region.
- Execute regional marketing strategies to meet quarterly/yearly sales goals.
- Review sales plan quarterly; continually analyze territories for growth.
- Maintain knowledge of local customers/networks; communicate personnel/product/market issues to management.
- Coordinate selling with managed care and national accounts.
- Set performance expectations; observe/document feedback; counsel/coaching for development.
- Recruit/train/manage performance; manage expenses to budget.
- Plan and conduct POA/launch meetings; act as liaison between corporate and field sales.

Required qualifications/skills
- BS/BA; 3–5 years pharmaceutical representative success; experience in institutional environment.
- Strategic/business planning, coaching/delegation/motivation, data analysis for actionable plans.
- Strong verbal/written/presentation skills; reside near assigned geography; Microsoft Office.

Preferred
- 2–3 years district management; product launch/turnaround; Rare Disease and GI experience; MBA/Master’s.
