Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and developmental guidance to a team of sales professionals to pursue commercial objectives.
- Promote a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable culture.
- Exceed sales and performance objectives; lead ongoing development and engagement of team members.
- Recruit, hire, and retain top sales talent; build and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback.
- Use performance metrics and market insights to drive business growth and accountability.
- Enhance field performance; conduct weekly field visits, business reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Motivate and coach sales professionals to execute business strategies and maximize territory performance.
- Provide clear verbal and written feedback; recognize strong performance and address gaps through timely coaching.
- Lead the region to achieve and exceed sales and performance objectives.
- Represent the company by championing its mission and vision; drive strategic value for customers and improve patient outcomes.
- Lead sales meetings; communicate organizational priorities; collaborate cross-functionally.
- Build relationships with physicians and key opinion leaders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in bioscience commercial roles (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Diagnostics, Biotechnology, or Lifesciences) and 2–5 years in sales leadership.
- Highly desirable: rescue markets, specialty spaces, diabetes, medical device, or complex selling environments.
- Ability to influence using key performance metrics; hold team accountable.
- Strong coaching/mentoring and culture-building track record.
- Competencies: leadership, strategic thinking, organizational skills, self-directed, EQ, decision-making, strong written/verbal communication, customer engagement focus, analytical skills, teamwork.

Working Conditions:
- Periodic evening/weekend work as needed.
- Vehicle and airline travel; valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Work in assigned territory; 3–4 days/week in field; up to 75% travel.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Anticipated base salary range: $180,000–$240,000.
