Position Summary
- Lead the execution of the Regional growth strategy. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop 6β9 account managers and molecular oncology specialists with a hands-on sales approach. Identify and communicate customer needs to maintain market leadership.
Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed direct sales revenue targets; develop regional sales strategy.
- Build, train, and manage a sales team to achieve volume/revenue objectives.
- Establish senior relationships in key accounts; develop/maintain client relationships.
- Provide marketplace feedback on industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights.
- Build cross-functional relationships to support product development, pipeline management, compensation plans, sales reporting, and revenue forecasting.
- Analyze opportunities and develop strategic plans for assigned territory.
- Advise senior management on client/market concerns; maintain core knowledge of competitive products/services and reimbursement/billing.
- Support physicians with CMI platform ordering/interpretation and QC report accuracy (may require access to PHI).
- Maintain assigned company assets; submit required reports and paperwork.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelorβs degree; 5+ years people leadership (preferred) and knowledge of oncology/pathology/diagnostic market.
- Strong physician/client relationship understanding; proven sales success with global brand marketers/agencies.
- Decision-making under pressure; healthcare business policy understanding.
- Microsoft Office/Internet proficiency; strong written/verbal communication.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented; matrix/team experience; problem management/root-cause analysis.
- Valid driverβs license; reliable vehicle; travel; 50% field time.
