Position Summary
The Regional Business Director is a sales leadership role responsible for executing the overall growth strategy for the Region, including leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing 6โ€“9 account managers and molecular oncology specialists, and achieving required growth initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed direct sales revenue targets.
- Develop regional sales strategy to achieve revenue objectives.
- Establish senior-level relationships within key accounts.
- Build, train, and manage a sales team to meet/exceed volume and revenue objectives.
- Provide marketplace feedback to support sales strategy development.
- Share industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights.
- Build cross-functional relationships (product development, pipeline management, compensation plans, reporting, revenue forecasting).
- Provide timely communication to the Area Vice President of Oncology Sales.
- Analyze business opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Advise senior management on client/market concerns.
- Maintain โ€œcoreโ€ knowledge of competitive products/services/technology and reimbursement/billing issues.
- Manage assigned company assets and submit required reports/paperwork.
- Support physicians with CMI platform ordering/interpretation and QC report quality/accuracy (may require access to PHI).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 5+ years people leadership and understanding of oncology, pathology, and/or diagnostic market.
- Strong physician relationship understanding; problem-solving and communication under pressure.
- Healthcare business policy understanding.
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
- Strong written/verbal communication; self-directed, detail-oriented.
- Experience in complex matrix, collaborative environments.
- Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable vehicle/insurance.
- Travel regularly; ~50% field time.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
