Role Summary
Regional Business Director, CAR-T (West) oversees the commercial strategy and execution for CARVYKTI in the West region. The role leads sales performance, regional business planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive launch and growth, with a strong emphasis on oncology/hematology and delivering innovative therapies to patients in need.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Sales Managers and Account Executives to achieve or exceed sales targets for CARVYKTI in the assigned region.
- Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with national objectives and brand strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to drive product adoption and market share.
- Analyze regional market dynamics, competitive trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to support product launches, field initiatives, and educational programs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Manage regional budget and allocate resources efficiently to maximize business impact.
Qualifications
- Required: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Required: A valid driverβΓΓ΄s license issued in one of the fifty United States
- Required: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of cross-functional experience in key commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry
- Required: Prior people management experience
- Required: Ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high performing, diverse teams
- Required: The ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight/weekend travel
- Required: Candidates must reside within the stated region
Preferred Qualifications
- Cross functional experience beyond sales and sales learning & development, including in-line marketing and/or strategic marketing.
- Healthcare industry or related experience, including pharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience in sales as either a professional sales representative and/or District Manager.
- Previous CAR-T experience.
