Role Summary
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Regional Business Director, CAR-T (CARVYKTI), covering the West Region. The Regional Business Director will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the commercial success of CARVYKTI within their assigned region, drive sales performance, develop regional business plans, lead high-performing teams, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure the successful launch and ongoing growth of CARVYKTI. The ideal candidate will have a strong oncology or hematology background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for delivering innovative therapies to patients in need.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Sales Managers and Account Executives to achieve or exceed sales targets for CARVYKTI in the assigned region.
- Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with national objectives and brand strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to drive product adoption and market share.
- Analyze regional market dynamics, competitive trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to support product launches, field initiatives, and educational programs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Manage regional budget and allocate resources efficiently to maximize business impact.
Qualifications
- Required: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Required: A valid driverβΓΓ΄s license issued in one of the fifty United States
- Required: A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience, with at least five years of cross-functional experience in key commercial roles within the pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare industry
- Required: Prior people management experience
- Required: Ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high performing, diverse teams
- Required: Travel up to 50% (may include overnight/weekend travel)
- Required: Candidates must reside within the stated region
